On November 30, the official website of the government of Cote d'Ivoire reported that Thomas camara, Minister of mining, oil and energy of Cote d'Ivoire, presided over the signing of a three-year energy procurement contract between Cote d'Ivoire and Guinea. Kuwait will sell 11 megawatt hours of electricity to Guinea every year from 2021, with a total of 33 megawatt hours in three years. As part of the large-scale power interconnection project of ECOWAS, including Cote d'Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, the project aims to lay a solid foundation for energy cooperation for the benefit of all peoples.
