Petrobras announced the sale of 28 onshore oil fields in Bahia. In 2020, Petrobras changed its strategy and began to sell more assets. The oil field to be sold this time produces 14,000 barrels of oil per day, which is not high compared with subsalt oil fields, but it is still considerable for land oil fields. According to information from the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), 15 of the larger onshore oil fields owned by Petrobras are on sale, and their total production accounts for 80% of their total onshore oil fields.
